Marc Price, the sales person, met me on the parking lot with cordiality. He listened to my inquiries and had clear answers to all my questions. He invited me to take a test drive. Actually, I had not settled on the Murano at that time, but by the time he finished an unhurried prsentation of the vehicle, I was sold on it as a first choice. Over the next couple of days I researched the vehicle on line and called Marc with several questions. He was patient with me and resolved every concern. My negotiations about price, etc with Marc were straightforward and I closed thinking that I have received a vehicle that will serve me optimally and at a fair price. The whole dealership and every single person with whom I spoke reflected the same professionalism and earnestness. I would note especially the clear discussions with Finance Manager Floyd Rucks. In sum, this has been one of the best car-buying experiences of my 70 years. I would recommend that anyone purchasing a new car at least pay a visit to Peltier Nissan. Texan Hyundai - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
The General Manager of this dealership obviously does not care about customers once the deal is sealed. I have sent numerous emails and left even more messages regarding a concern I have with a vehicle I purchased there less than 3 months ago and to this day this man has not responded. Doesnt say too much about work ethics. Buyer beware......do not purchase from this dealership. There are other Hyundai dealerships that treat their customers with the respect they deserve but it is not this one............ ★

Munday Chevrolet in Houston to Debut 2011 Chevy Cruze this September

Houston Chevrolet dealer, Munday Chevrolet, recently announced plans to debut the new 2011 Chevy Cruze at the dealership in September.
The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze will replace Cobalt as the compact car from General Motors’ volume division. Cruze is a 4-door sedan that comes in LS, LT, LTZ, and fuel-economy-oriented Eco trim levels. The LS has a 136-horsepower 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine. The LT, LTZ, and Eco use a 138-horsepower turbocharged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission is available on all models.
Among the available features are a wireless cell-phone link and navigation system. Cruze Eco models have ultra-low-rolling-resistance tires and other aerodynamic tweaks designed to increase fuel economy. Available on the LT and LTZ is an RS Appearance Package, which includes specific wheels and exterior trim.
The new compact Chevrolet Cruze, which replaces the Chevy Cobalt, is not only a good looking vehicle, but also boasts many safety features.
“We are very confident of the safety performance of the Cruze and believe it will prove to be one of the safest vehicles in the segment,” said Chuck Russell, vehicle line director at the Milford Proving Ground, where future vehicles are tested. “To benefit our customers, we went way beyond requirements to exceed government safety mandates.”
The list of standard safety features on all models includes dual stage airbags, head-curtain airbags mounted in the roof rail, seat mounted, side-impact airbags, front and rear, front passenger seat occupant sensing system, and rollover sensing and protection system as well as a collapsible pedal assembly, which can minimize injuries to the driver in a head-on collision.
Chevy has also provided a comparison showing that the Cruze has nine standard features that cost extra on the Honda Civic, including satellite radio, traction control and Air Conditioning. Downsizing has become a fact of life in the compact segment where consumers both expect fuel economy approaching 40 miles per gallon and a comfortable interior as well, and the Cruze offers both.
